Job summary

SUROJ BUILDCON PVT. LTD. invites an MEP Design Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join the team in Pune, Maharashtra. You will prepare and review MEP designs, coordinate with design consultants and site teams, and support cost control, vendor inquiries, and rate analysis.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and basic Revit/BIM is preferred, with knowledge of IS/NBC/ASHRAE/CPWD standards. Strong coordination and analytical skills are essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review MEP designs, GFC drawings, specifications and documents.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, structural and site teams.
• Review equipment TDS, drawings, DBR, schedules and submissions.
• Support MEP estimation, BOQ, vendor inquiries and rate analysis.
• Coordinate HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, Firefighting, Fuel & Gas systems.
• Identify design clashes and support cost control and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review MEP designs, GFC drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, structural and site teams for smooth execution.
• Review equipment TDS, drawings, DBR, schedules, and technical submissions.
• Support MEP estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor enquiries, technical offers, and rate analysis.
• Coordinate HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, Firefighting, Fuel & Gas systems.
• Identify design clashes, scope changes, and support value engineering and cost control.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of MEP systems and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, PPT, and MSP; basic Revit/BIM knowledge.
• Understanding of IS, NBC, ASHRAE, and CPWD standards.
• Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualification: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
