Job summary

INT Cleanroom Systems India is seeking a Billing Engineer for an on-site Bengaluru position. You will prepare and review BOQs, validate measurements, and ensure accurate billing in coordination with project and site teams.

Responsibilities include rate analysis, quantity reconciliation, and monitoring contractor/client bills, with collaboration across procurement, finance, and project management to ensure timely invoicing and proper documentation at a cleanroom or controlled environment project

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying, capable of interpreting drawings and project specs.
• Experience with Billing Systems and verification/reconciliation of contractor and client bills.
• Proficient in rate analysis and cost evaluation for materials, labor, and services.
• Demonstrated analytical skills for reviewing quantities and identifying discrepancies in project costing.

Role Description

The Billing Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), validating measurements, and ensuring accurate billing for projects in coordination with project and site teams. Day-to-day tasks include rate analysis, reconciliation of quantities, verification of contractor bills, and updating billing systems with current project data. The Billing Engineer will collaborate with procurement, finance, and project management to ensure timely invoicing, adherence to contract terms, and proper documentation. The role also involves analyzing cost and quantity variations, maintaining detailed records, and supporting periodic reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying, with the ability to interpret drawings and project specifications.
• Experience working with Billing Systems and processes, including verification and reconciliation of contractor and client bills.
• Proficient in Rate Analysis and cost evaluation for materials, labor, and services.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing quantities, identifying discrepancies, and supporting accurate project costing.
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Solid understanding of construction or industrial project workflows; experience in cleanroom or controlled environment projects is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant engineering or quantity surveying software tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain clear, organized documentation.
