Job summary

Club Mahindra is seeking an experienced MEP Project Lead to oversee end‑to‑end execution for hospitality projects. You will manage timelines, budgets, and quality, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver premium hotel and resort facilities.

The role emphasizes design review, site supervision, and rigorous handover procedures, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and value engineering.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in MEP project execution and construction management.
• Mandatory experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, or luxury residential projects.
• Experience in greenfield, brownfield, renovation, and interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and related building services.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall MEP execution and construction management across projects.
• Study, review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, interior, and landscape drawings.
• Supervise site installations, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Implement quality control and ensure compliance with regulations and project specs.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

• Lead overall MEP execution and construction management activities across assigned projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within approved schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Design Review & Coordination

• Study and review Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior, and Landscape drawings.
• Identify design gaps, technical challenges, and constructability issues.
• Coordinate with design consultants, architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants for resolution of site-related issues.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and efficiency.

Site Management

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and HVAC systems.
• Manage site logistics, manpower deployment, and contractor performance.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.

Quality Assurance

• Implement quality control procedures and monitor workmanship standards.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with statutory regulations, project specifications, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure safe working conditions across project sites.
• Implement and enforce HSE policies and industry best practices.

Stakeholder Management & Handover

• Liaise with operations teams to ensure seamless project handover.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and management updates.
• Ensure completion of snag rectification, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities.

Candidate Requirements:

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

• 6-12 years of experience in MEP project execution and construction management.
• Mandatory experience in hotel, resort, hospitality, or luxury residential projects.
• Experience in greenfield, brownfield, renovation, and interior fit-out projects is preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Building Services systems.
• Proficiency in project Management, budgeting, and contractor management.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project and project management tools.
