Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a Field Sales Executive with ophthalmology exposure to drive prescriptions among doctors and pharmacists in Imphal. You will work on field visits, promote products, and build relationships with healthcare professionals to meet targets.

The role requires travel across India, a two-wheeler with license, and a Graduate or science-background candidate. This position is based at Imphal and involves market development and product availability responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out effective field work to generate prescriptions through medical professionals.
• Perform RCPA and enter correct information in the system; prepare Pre Call Planning for each doctor call.
• Demonstrate and promote products to doctors and pharmacists per division guidelines.
• Ensure regular customer conversion and minimize prescriber loss by following the division strategy.
• Ensure product availability at pharmacists to honor prescriptions and complete POBs as per norms.
• Create/update Doctor/Chemist lists as per guidelines.
• Support successful launches by implementing division-suggested strategies.

Job Description

1. Carrying out effective field work to achieve and surpass the assigned budget by generation of prescriptions through medical professionals (HCPs).
2. Carrying out the effective RCPA and entering the correct information in the system and prepare / set objective (Pre Call Planning) for every Doctor call.
3. Demonstrate and promote products to HCPs (doctors and pharmacists) as per the guidelines provided by the division to generate maximum prescriptions.
4. Ensure regular customer conversion, no prescriber loss by following the division strategy by building effective relationship.
5. Ensure the sufficient availability of the products at the pharmacists to honor the Doctor prescription and do the required number of POBs as per the division norms.
6. Create / update the effective Doctor / Chemist list as per the division guidelines.
7. Ensure the success of new launches by implementing the strategies suggested by the division.
