Job summary

CAREER POINT is seeking a Female Medical Representative to promote and sell pharmaceutical products across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, and other major cities. You will detail product data and build strong doctor and chemist relationships to drive prescriptions.

Freshers or up to 1 year of experience are eligible. A BSc/BPharma/DPharma background is preferred, MBA is a plus. Travel and performance incentives are expected parts of the role.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics.
• Detail product benefits, usage, dosage, and scientific data during visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors and chemists to generate prescriptions.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned products.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules and maintain call records.
• Organise CMEs, product presentations, and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitors and market trends.
• Ensure product availability and visibility at retail and wholesale points.
• Stay updated on medical knowledge and new therapies.
• Submit daily reports and market feedback to management.

Role Purpose:

A Medical Representative promotes and sells pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The role focuses on product awareness, relationship building, and achieving sales targets while maintaining scientific and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics.
• Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals to detail product benefits, usage, dosage, and scientific data.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and chemists to ensure consistent prescription generation.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned product lines.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules and maintain call records.
• Organise CMEs, product presentations, and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor products, strategies, and market trends.
• Ensure availability and visibility of products at retail and wholesale points.
• Stay updated on medical knowledge, new therapies, and industry developments.
• Submit daily reports, doctor coverage plans, and market feedback to management. 3
