Job summary

Breach Candy Hospital Trust is seeking a Medical Records Officer to manage patient records, coordinate with information desks, insurance, and clinical teams, and ensure data confidentiality. The role involves Birth/Death online reporting, HMIS submissions, NABH indicators, and ongoing liaison with physicians and hospital administrators to maintain accurate records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Diploma or certificate in Medical Records Management.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a Medical Records Department of a multispecialty hospital.

• Attending calls and coordinating accordingly as per requirement queries.
• Updating mails from info, insurance, patients, with required documents.
• Updating Birth and Death online reporting.
• Monthly HMIS form submission.
• Drafting of Injury Certificate and sending to the concerned Doctors for approval.
• Visiting BMC for monthly meeting and if required in between for Birth/Death queries.
• Helping patients in Birth/Death online form updation.
• MRD induction for new Nurses joining.
• Follow-up with team for monthly IP counts to submit to various department.
• Submission of NABH Quarterly indicators.
• Handling queries received during and post discharge.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records.

Education
