Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Executive - Mechanical in our E&M Utilities HVAC team. You will be responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including cold rooms and DX units to ensure reliable performance.

You will ensure GMP and safety compliance, manage spares procurement, coordinate with OEMs and contractors for major maintenance, and maintain comprehensive equipment documentation in SAP.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and operation of HVAC systems including cold rooms, DX units and ACs.
• Compliance with GMP, safety and environmental standards.
• Documentation in SAP and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems for reliable performance.
• Ensure GMP, safety and environmental compliance in maintenance activities.
• Monitor spares inventory and procurement for critical components.
• Coordinate with OEMs/contractors for major maintenance and AMCs.
• Maintain equipment history and documentation in SAP system.

Senior Executive – E&M Utilities HVAC

• Responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting of cold rooms, DX units, air conditioners (ACs), and HVAC systems to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, HVAC validation requirements (where applicable), and company SOPs.
• Monitor the inventory of critical spares and consumables and initiate procurement as required.
• Monitor system performance and optimize operating parameters to improve energy efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers for major maintenance activities and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and documentation in the SAP system.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and qualification of new HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of CAPA related to HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with the QA team during audits, inspections, and regulatory assessments, and provide required documentation.
• Follow permit system as per the work carried out.
• Responsible for the closure of work orders.
• Housekeeping to be maintained in the utility block premises
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) as per related works.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.
• Ensure Safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Responsible for following Environmental Guidelines, EHS Guidelines.
• Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence.
