Job summary

PYRAMID INFRATECH Group seeks an experienced Foreman (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical operations on-site, ensuring equipment reliability, safety and efficiency on active projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in heavy construction sectors, with expertise in TM, cranes and batching plants, and strong leadership to guide on-site teams.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma required.
• Extensive understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of plant machinery.
• 10+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in construction, infra or heavy engineering.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
• Proven leadership and on-site coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs of site-level mechanical assets.
• Ensure optimal performance and safety of heavy machinery (TM, Concrete Pumps, Cradles, Tower Cranes, DG, Boom Placers, Batching Plants).
• Lead, mentor and coordinate on-site mechanics, technicians and operators to meet daily goals.
• Enforce rigorous health and safety protocols to prevent accidents during servicing and operation.
• Track spare parts, manage tool inventories, and prepare asset maintenance logs for management.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Foreman (Mechanical) to oversee, guide, and manage site-level mechanical operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge of heavy construction machinery and a proven track record of maintaining equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety standards on active project sites.

Core Responsibilities

• Asset Maintenance: Oversee the routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs of all site-level mechanical assets.
• Specialized Equipment Management: Ensure optimal performance, calibration, and safety of heavy machinery including Transit Mixers (TM), Concrete Pumps, Cradles, Tower Cranes, Diesel Generators (DG), Boom Placers, and overall Batching Plants.
• Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and coordinate workflows for on-site mechanics, technicians, and operators to achieve daily operational goals.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure zero accidents during machinery servicing and operation.
• Inventory & Reporting: Track spare parts availability, manage tool inventories, and prepare detailed asset performance and maintenance logs for management review.
