Job summary

Ravitej Projects is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist for underground tunnelling projects in Maharashtra. You will plan, operate, and maintain construction equipment, ensuring reliable performance for drilling, shotcreting, and ancillary systems.

You will monitor utilization, coordinate repairs, manage spares, and maintain logs. The role requires hands-on leadership of workshop and field teams with a strong focus on safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years in underground works, tunnelling, hydropower, or heavy civil projects.
• Experience with drill jumbos, shotcrete machines, excavators, loaders, compressors, batching plants, DG sets.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting systems.
• Ability to manage site workshop operations and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Planning, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment for underground and tunnelling works.

• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly equipment performance reports.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in underground works, tunnelling, hydropower, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of tunnelling and construction equipment such as drill jumbos, shotcrete machines, excavators, loaders, compressors, batching plants, crushers, DG sets, and allied machinery.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting, and equipment management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting systems.
• Ability to manage site workshop operations and mechanical teams independently.

Preferred

• Experience in NATM tunnelling, hydropower, PSP, metro, or underground infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with equipment productivity monitoring, fuel management, and cost control.
