Job summary

Chettinad cement corporation invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance in Puliyur, Karur District, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on preventive/predictive maintenance of cement-plant mechanical equipment, shutdown planning, and cost-control in a contract setting.

The candidate will coordinate with Production, Electrical and Instrumentation teams, manage spare parts, and ensure safe, zero-harm maintenance practices on plant assets. Direct contact with HR is required.

Qualifications

• Breakdown troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Plan critical spare parts and inventory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, preferably using SAP/CMMS.
