Job summary

Jekson Vision in Gujarat, Ahmedabad is seeking a mechanical design engineer specializing in conveyors and special purpose machines. The role involves leading a team of draughtsmen and owning the design conceptualization, calculations, and 3D/2D modeling including BOM.

You will work with ERP and ensure ISO-compliant release processes, coordinate across departments, and advance projects from concept to release, using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Experience in design conceptualization and calculations.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Awareness of ERP and ISO documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of draughtsmen for design execution.

Job description

• Designed conveyors, high precision and high-speed machines
• To design SPMs (Special purpose machines) which work on automation.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics aspects of the machines.
• Will be responsible for the design conceptualization & calculations.
• Will lead a team of draughtsman.
• Prepare 3D model, 2D drawing and Bill of material (BOM) as per requirement
• Experienced in Solid works and ERP
• Release DEN, DCR as per ISO standards
• Coordinate with inter departments for development activities

Desired Candidate Profile

• Similar industry experience will be added advantage.
• Solid works / AutoCAD
• Proficient in using MS-Excel, MS-Word.
• Awareness about ERP
• ISO documentation
• Preferable from Machin design field and conveyor manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of GD&T, Measuring Instruments
• Pharma Machine background is added advantage
