Job summary

Kiron Hydraulic Needs in Mumbai invites a Design Engineer to develop Belt, Modular, Screw, Wire mesh and Vibratory Conveyors using 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks. You will prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs and component selections while ensuring robust product performance.

You will coordinate with Sales, Project, Manufacturing, Quality and Service teams for design reviews, RFQ feasibility studies, cost optimisation and process improvements. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Design and development of conveyors using 2D CAD and 3D CAD tools with associated drawings and BOMs.
• Interaction with Sales to understand customer requirements.
• Collaboration with Project team for client layout reviews and approvals.
• Coordination with Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, Project and Service teams for design reviews and process improvements.
• Perform design feasibility studies and provide cost-effective RFQ solutions.
• Identify and resolve design-related problems (RCA) and document learnings.
• Design optimization and value engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Sales to capture customer requirements.
• Interface with Project team for layout/design reviews and client approvals.

• Conduct feasibility studies and provide practical, cost-effective RFQ solutions with costing data.
• Identify and resolve design-related problems (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Engage in design optimization and value engineering.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Design and development of Belt Conveyors, Modular Conveyor, Screw Conveyor, Wire mesh Conveyor, Vibratory Conveyor, Elevator Conveyor etc with the help of design 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Solidworks). Prepare manufacturing drawing and process drawings, BOM, Boughtout selections (Geared motor, Belt, scrapper etc).

3. 3. Interaction with Project team for review and approval of Conveyor layout / design from client
4. 4. Interaction with Internal Stakeholders (Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, Project and Service team) for design review, assembly instructions, process improvement, proto manufacturing, product testing.
5. 5. Conduct design feasibility study and prepare Practical & cost-effective solutions for RFQ along with costing data.
6. 7. Identify and resolve design-related problems (RCA), take corrective action and maintain relevant documents about learnings.
