Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mechanical design of SPM and automation systems from initial concept to final prototype and manufacturing.
• Create 3D models, sub-assemblies, and precise 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, machine kinematics, and component selection.
• Select standard off-the-shelf parts including pneumatics, actuators, drives, bearings, and motors.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for assembly.
