The Planning Incharge will be responsible forproject planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress control for construction projects. The role involves preparingbaseline schedules, monitoring project progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones while maintaining cost and resource efficiency.
Preparedetailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Developbaseline schedules, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and project timelines.
Identifycritical path activities and monitor schedule risks.
Trackdaily, weekly, and monthly progress against baseline plans.
PrepareMIS reports, dashboards, and progress presentations for management review.
Conductdelay analysis and recovery planning.
Coordinate withconstruction, engineering, procurement, and subcontract teams to ensure alignment with the project schedule.
Participate inproject review meetings and planning discussions.
Assist inresource loading, manpower planning, and equipment planning.
Supportcost monitoring and productivity analysis in coordination with project controls.
Prepareweekly/monthly planning reports.
Update project schedules and provide early warnings for potential delays.
Identify potentialschedule risks and mitigation plans.
Support preparation ofExtension of Time (EOT) and claim documentation when required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / M.Tech in Construction Management
5–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in high rise residential construction projects.
Strong working knowledge of:
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Excel (advanced reporting)
Knowledge ofconstruction methodologies and sequencing.
Understanding ofEVM (Earned Value Management) is preferred.
