Job summary

MBCL is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer – Civil Execution to oversee day-to-day site activities for a high-rise tower project. You will supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, and finishing works, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in high-rise construction, coordination with subcontractors, and active involvement in planning, procurement, and quality control to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech Civil) – Mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site execution activities of assigned work areas within the tower.
• Supervision of construction activities, coordination with subcontractors, ensuring quality compliance, and monitoring progress as per project schedule.
• Site Execution: Supervise and execute daily construction activities including RCC, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
• Work Planning & Monitoring: Assist the Tower Incharge in planning daily and weekly work activities; ensure availability of materials, manpower, and equipment; track daily progress.
• Subcontractor Supervision: Supervise work performed by subcontractors and labour teams; ensure adherence to drawings, quality standards, and safety guidelines; monitor productivity.
• Quality Control: Ensure construction activities comply with project quality standards; conduct site inspections and quality checks; identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all workers follow site safety procedures; participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily progress records and site reports; assist in quantity verification and measurement for billing; maintain drawings and inspection records.
• Coordination: Coordinate with planning, billing, quality, and procurement teams for execution support; communicate site issues to Tower Incharge for resolution.

Quality Control

Ensure construction activities comply withproject quality standards and specifications.

Conductsite inspections and quality checks during execution.

Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.

Safety Compliance

Participate insafety inspections and toolbox talks.

Documentation & Reporting
