A leading training organization in India seeks a Master Barista Trainer to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for baristas. This role involves designing curricula, conducting quality assessments, and mentoring trainers. Candidates should have strong expertise in espresso techniques and training facilitation, along with the ability to travel across locations. Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering on-site barista training and assessments in multi-site café operations.
• Strong ability to travel across locations for rollouts and periodic audits.
• Fluent in English and comfortable delivering training in regional languages where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured, hands-on barista training curricula for new hires.
• Run cupping and sensory sessions to maintain beverage quality standards.
• Develop and implement assessment frameworks for standardized skill levels.
• Lead train-the-trainer programs: mentor in-house trainers, create training materials, and enable scalable knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with operations and supply teams to align recipes, SOPs, and equipment calibration practices with cost and quality goals.
• Oversee daily cleaning, preventive maintenance training, and basic troubleshooting for grinders and commercial espresso machines; coordinate with service vendors as needed.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured, hands‑on barista training curricula (espresso, milk texturing, latte art, manual brewing) for new hires and refresher cohorts.
• Run cupping and sensory sessions to set and maintain beverage quality standards; translate sensory feedback into corrective coaching.
• Develop and implement assessment frameworks, certification checklists, and competency records to standardise skill levels across sites.
• Lead train-the‑trainer programs: mentor in‑house trainers, create training materials, and enable scalable knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with operations and supply teams to align recipes, SOPs, and equipment calibration practices with cost and quality goals.
• Oversee daily cleaning, preventive maintenance training, and basic troubleshooting for grinders and commercial espresso machines; coordinate with service vendors as needed.
