Job summary

Transcon Ind Ltd is seeking a Marketing & Tendering Engineer to drive tendering activities in the Electrical/ Transformer sector from Hyderabad. You will handle online and offline tenders, prepare techno-commercial offers and coordinate with DISCOMs and private customers.

The role requires 2–5 years in marketing/tendering, a Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

Transcon Ind Ltd is looking for a Marketing & Tendering Engineer with experience in the Electrical / Transformer / Power industry. The role will involve handling tendering activities, customer correspondence, sales support, business development and coordination with DISCOMs and private customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle online and offline tendering activities
• Identify and participate in tenders from DISCOMs, utilities and private customers
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial tenders
• Review tender specifications, BOQs, eligibility criteria and commercial requirements
• Handle correspondence and coordination with DISCOMs and private customers
• Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers and tender documents
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Commercial and other internal departments
• Follow up with customers on enquiries, quotations, tenders and orders
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
• Identify new business opportunities in the Electrical / Power sector
• Handle customer enquiries and understand technical requirements
• Maintain tender records, customer correspondence and proper filing
• Handle BIS & BEE returns and related documentation
• Monitor tender status, amendments, clarifications and submission timelines
• Support day-to-day marketing, tendering and office activities

Candidate Profile:

• 25 years of relevant experience in Marketing / Tendering / Sales Support
• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / EEE
• Experience in Transformer, Electrical, Power or related industry preferred
• Experience handling DISCOM tenders will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of online and offline tendering processes
• Strong customer coordination and communication skills
• Good documentation and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities
