Job summary

Vijay Electric Co is seeking a dedicated Tender Manager in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end tender processes for power transformer projects. You will coordinate with sales, engineering, legal, and finance to craft competitive bids and ensure timely submissions.

You will analyze requirements, develop commercial and technical strategies, negotiate terms, and drive win chances while maintaining thorough records and compliance across all tenders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years tender management experience in Power Transformer manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and tendering procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Designation: Tender Manager

Reporting To: CEO (Chief Executive Officer).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire tender process, including proposal preparation and submission of Power Transformer.
• Analyze tender documents and understand client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bids.
• Review and evaluate tender documents and identify key requirements.
• Develop strategies and plans to win tenders and secure contracts.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect necessary data for tender submissions.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Track and manage all ongoing and completed tenders to ensure compliance and success.
• Manage and oversee the entire tender process from start to finish.
• Analyze requirements, prepare compliance checklists, and ensure all requirements are met.
• Develop and manage tender schedules, ensuring timely submissions.
• Review and analyze tender documentation and contract conditions.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present tender proposals to senior management.

• Efficiently organize and manage the internal resources of the factory, including technical, legal, and finance teams, for the offer preparation.
• Work with the engineering department to develop a comprehensive and competitive technical solution for the customer.
• Work with the pricing teams to develop accurate and competitive cost and price calculations based on the proposed solution.
• Oversee the creation of all bid content and documentation to ensure high-quality, professional, and compelling proposals.

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma / BE (Electrical Engineer) or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 to 12 years of tender management experience in Power Transformer manufacturing company.
• Strong understanding of contract law and tendering procedures.
