Role Description

The Market Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for driving sales and strengthening the company’s presence in assigned territories and retail outlets. Day-to-day tasks include visiting stores, executing direct store delivery activities, ensuring proper product placement, and maintaining adequate stock levels. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with retailers, resolving customer and store issues, and implementing promotional plans to increase sales. The Market Sales Specialist will also collect market insights, report on performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to improve sales strategies. In addition, the role includes providing basic training and support to store staff on product knowledge and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with retailers, store staff, and internal teams.
• Proven experience in Sales and market development, preferably in FMCG, retail, or related sectors.
• Hands-on knowledge of Direct Store Delivery processes and in-store execution activities.
• Ability to provide Training and guidance to store personnel on product features and merchandising best practices.
• Good negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of sales reporting, route planning, and inventory management.
• Comfortable working on-site with regular field visits in Jaipur and nearby markets.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in local language and working-level English; familiarity with basic computer and mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
