Job summary

Anglo-Eastern Ship Management in Mumbai seeks a Recruitment Coordinator to support seafarer recruitment and placement operations. You will manage candidate data, coordinate screenings, and help ensure compliance with Maritime Labour Convention requirements. The role also involves scheduling training, verifying certificates, and maintaining documentation, while liaising with the Manager and internal teams to drive efficient onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with Maritime Labour Convention recruitment requirements
• Regularly update the Company Recruitment Database with candidate information and follow-ups
• Coordinate screening assessments and technical interviews for shortlisted candidates
• Schedule in-house training programs for selected candidates
• Verify authenticity and validity of certificates, CDCs, and Certificates of Competency for new joiners
• Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the Manager in line with company policies

To be fully conversant with the Maritime Labour Convention, and in particular the “Seafarer Recruitment and Placement” section to which must be adhered too and followed at all times

• Maintain complete familiarity with the company’s recruitment process, and documentation requirements.
• Regularly update and manage the Company Recruitment Database with information of all contacted seafarers and follow-ups.
• Coordinate and assign appropriate screening assessments and technical interviews for shortlisted candidates, ensuring efficient selection and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate the scheduling of in-house training programs for selected candidates.
• Verify the authenticity and validity of all certificates, CDCs, and Certificates of Competency (COCs) for all new joiners.
• Undertake additional administrative or office-related duties as may be assigned by the Manager, in line with company policies and procedures.
