Job summary

Sterlite Power is seeking a leader to head end-to-end power cable manufacturing operations in India. You will drive production, quality, delivery, and cost targets while building a high-performance team.

Responsibilities include optimizing processes, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with HSE and regulatory standards. You will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and oversee CAPEX and capacity expansion initiatives to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable/conductor manufacturing.
• Experience in plant operations, production planning and control.

• Lead end-to-end power cable manufacturing operations, ensuring production, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Drive productivity, process improvement, waste reduction, and optimal utilization of manpower and machinery.
• Lead and develop plant teams while fostering a strong safety, quality, and performance culture.
• Ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, HSE standards, and effective plant maintenance.
• Manage plant budgets and drive cost optimization across materials, energy, manpower, and operations.
• Ensure raw material availability, inventory optimization, and effective vendor management.
• Lead CAPEX, capacity expansion, equipment upgrades, and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve overall business objectives.
