Job summary

Adani Group in Kanpur is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Assembly & Integration with 3–5 years of experience in aerospace/defence manufacturing. You will support aerospace structural assembly, interpret engineering data, and develop manufacturing documentation for compliant production lines.

You will drive continuous improvement, lead shop-floor problem solving, and coordinate withQuality, Engineering, Supply Chain and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and conformance to AS9100D standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in aerospace/defence manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Manage assembly and integration of aerospace structures from sub-assembly to final integration
• Interpret engineering drawings, EBOMs, specifications and TPAs to define manufacturing approaches
• Develop and maintain work instructions, HWIs, visual aids, SDS, RIS, and NDT documentation
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and ensure compliance with customer specs
• Provide hands-on shop-floor support and drive process deviations and improvements
• Identify tooling needs and coordinate design, review and procurement with cross-functional teams

Purpose of the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer Assembly & Integration, you will be responsible for supporting aerospace structural assembly and integration operations. You will interpret engineering data, develop manufacturing documentation, provide hands‑on shop‑floor support, and drive continuous improvementall while ensuring strict compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100D.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support assembly and integration of aerospace structures and assemblies, from initial sub-assembly through final integration.
• Interpret engineering drawings, EBOMs, specifications, and Technical Data Packages to define manufacturing approaches.
• Develop and maintain Work Instructions, HWIs, visual aids, SIOS, RIS, condition‑of‑supply documents, and NDT documentation.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and ensure process compliance with customer specifications and aerospace standards.
• Provide hands‑on shop‑floor support for assembly operations, troubleshooting, process deviations, and workflow improvements.
• Identify tooling requirements and coordinate design, review, and procurement with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Participate in NPI activities, including process validation, tooling validation, and product transitions into production.
• Perform PFMEA, risk analysis, root‑cause analysis, containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Analyze non‑conformances and develop rework, workaround, and containment plans.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits with manufacturing documentation and process evidence.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and suppliers to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Handle technical queries on drawings, specifications, materials, processes, and manufacturing requirements.
