Job summary

ePlane Company is seeking a Mid senior level Manufacturing engineer specialized in Configuration management for aircraft in as-built condition. The role focuses on change processes for manufacturing and engineering documentation and automating the change workflows.

You will work with ERP, PLM platforms and CAD tools to maintain accurate aircraft data, support build sequences, and drive KPI improvements across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or related field.
• Work experience: 2+ years in Configuration management / Technical publication in aerospace.
• Familiarity with aircraft build sequences & WBS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of Aircraft configurations and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for configuration management of aircrafts in as-built condition.
• Implement and maintain configuration control processes and procedures.
• Analyze and resolve configuration discrepancies with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Utilize best practices to improve configuration management processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation including engineering change orders, BOMs, etc.
• Stay updated with trends in configuration management tools and techniques.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of processes.

Job description

As a Mid senior Level Manufacturing engineer -Configuration management, you will be responsible for Configuration managementof Aircraft in As-built condition for eVTOL airframes prototype manufacturing& assembly integration. The candidate will be responsible for changeprocesses for manufacturing and engineering documentation & automating thechange processes.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding ofAircraft configurations and associated data.
  
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely configurationmanagement of all aircrafts in as-built condition.
  
• Implement and maintainconfiguration control processes and procedures to ensure compliance withindustry standards and company policies.
  
• Analyze and resolveconfiguration discrepancies and issues, working closely with engineering,manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  
• Utilize industry best practicesto continuously improve the configuration management process and promoteefficiency and accuracy.
  
• Conduct regular audits toensure data accuracy and completeness, identifying and rectifying anydiscrepancies.
  
• Develop and maintainconfiguration documentation, including engineering change orders, bills ofmaterial, and other related documents.
  
• Stay up to date with industrytrends and advancements in configuration management tools and techniques.
  
• Communicate and collaboratewith stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure a clearunderstanding of configuration management processes and procedures.
  
• Awareness on Aircraft changeprocess like MOD Process, Change Requests, EQNs would be an advantage
  
• DMU understanding andnavigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
  
• Knowledge on Aircraft buildprocess // Good understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation &Processes.
  
• Excellent Project Management& stakeholder Management skills to drive the performance KPIs &improvements proactively.
  
• Experience with Excel,PowerPoint / Google suite & PLM
  
• Adhere toproject timelines and budgets and quality of output.
  
• Basic knowledge on costestimation & time study of project execution.
  
• Basicknowledge on Lean Six sigma practices.
  
• Basicknowledge on QMS, QC tools & Metrology
  
• Basicknowledge on GD&T, Fits & assembly
  

Qualifications:
