Job summary

GUFIC BIOSCIENCES LIMITED in Indore is seeking a warehouse specialist to oversee daily activities, ensure compliant storage, and verify incoming materials against documents. You will handle ERP/SAP transactions and coordinate with QA/QC, Production, and Logistics to ensure smooth material movement.

The role requires strict adherence to GDP/GSP, GMP, 5S and EHS standards, with a focus on accurate stock records and disciplined housekeeping in a GMP-compliant warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations under GMP/GDP guidelines.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory management.
• Experience with ERP/SAP transactions for receipts, issues, and stock updates.
• Familiar with GDP, GSP, GMP and EHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper storage of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods per defined conditions.
• Verify incoming materials against PO, invoices, delivery challans and specs.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
• Ensure accurate ERP/SAP transactions for receipts, transfers, issues, and stock adjustments.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Purchase and Logistics for material movement.
• Support audits and close warehouse observations on time.
• Maintain GDP, GDP, GDP and 5S housekeeping in warehouse areas.

Job description

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including material receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper storage of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods, and other warehouse materials as per defined conditions.
• Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, Invoices, Delivery Challans, and approved specifications.
• Ensure proper sampling, quarantine, released, rejected, and approved status identification of materials.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory management.
• Ensure accurate ERP/SAP transactions for material receipts, transfers, issues, and stock adjustments.
• Maintain proper warehouse documentation, records, registers, and logbooks as per GMP/GDP requirements.
• Monitor temperature and humidity of storage areas and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Purchase, and Logistics departments for smooth material movement.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper material identification, labeling, segregation, and traceability.
• Handle rejected, expired, damaged, and returned materials as per approved SOPs.
• Support internal, customer, regulatory, and GMP audits and ensure timely closure of warehouse observations.
• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Storage Practices (GSP), GMP, and EHS requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure 5S standards within warehouse areas.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and ensure safe stacking and material handling.
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics teams for timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Ensure proper handling of cold-chain/temperature-sensitive materials, wherever applicable.
• Report deviations, damages, discrepancies, and other warehouse-related issues to the concerned department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
