Job summary

VSL Ventures is seeking a seasoned professional to lead pan-India technical service and support for inverters, UPS, batteries and solar products. You will train service engineers, perform product testing, troubleshoot issues and provide field feedback to R&D teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on service experience, strong team management and cross-functional coordination skills to drive service improvements and on-time resolutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in service, technical support, product testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong team management and customer handling abilities.
• Experience in coordinating with R&D, QA, Sales and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead pan-India technical service and support operations for inverters, UPS, batteries and solar products.
• Provide technical training and support to service engineers and sales teams.
• Conduct product testing, troubleshooting, burn-in/DOA analysis and technical evaluations.
• On-site testing of new products and sharing reports with R&D/NPD teams.
• Identify recurring product issues and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee customer complaints and service escalations within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Sales and Production for product improvements.
• Support new product launches via technical validation and field feedback.
• Assess technical competency and support recruitment/training of service engineers.
• Prepare service performance, product quality and technical reports for management.
