Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 4-8 years of inverter servicing experience (solar PV/UPS/power electronics).
• Hands-on experience with major inverter brands.
• Knowledge of power electronics, grid compliance, and electrical protection.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission inverters and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for reliable operation.
• Diagnose inverter faults (hardware, software, communication, grid-related).
• Conduct RCA/CAPA and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with OEM tech support for complex faults and warranty claims.
• Maintain service records, reports, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, electrical safety and site procedures.
• Support firmware updates and system upgrades.
• Provide technical guidance and training to site technicians.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors during service activities.

Position: Inverter Service Engineer

Role Summary

The Inverter Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power inverters used in solar PV plants, UPS systems, and industrial power applications. The role ensures maximum system availability, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to OEM and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of inverters and associated equipment.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot inverter faults (hardware, software, communication, and grid-related issues).
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA).
• Coordinate with OEM technical support for advanced fault resolution and warranty claims.
• Maintain service records, reports, and spare parts usage documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, electrical safety standards, and site procedures.
• Support performance optimization, firmware updates, and system upgrades.
• Provide technical guidance and training to site technicians and operators.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors during service activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
