Job summary

NSL Infratech is seeking a senior civil finishing specialist to lead end-to-end finishing activities on a high-rise residential project. You will plan, supervise, and coordinate plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, and waterproofing, ensuring adherence to drawings and quality standards.

Applicants should have 12–15 years in civil finishing works, strong exposure to high-rise developments, and familiarity with Mivan/aluminium formwork. Strong coordination and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in civil finishing works.
• Strong background in high-rise residential projects.
• Experience with Mivan/aluminium formwork technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise end-to-end finishing works for high-rise residential construction.
• Plan and monitor finishing activities to meet schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate internal and external finishes including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Head, Planning, MEP, QA/QC, contractors and consultants.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, productivity and progress.
• Identify constraints and resolve issues to avoid delays.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control at all stages.
• Coordinate civil finishing with MEP services to prevent clashes.
• Monitor material requirements and liaise with procurement/stores.
• Review progress and maintain daily/weekly reports.
• Adhere to safety procedures and site safety standards.
• Conduct snagging/de-snagging and timely defect closure.
• Support planning/execution teams to achieve quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Responsible for managing and executing all civil finishing works for a high-rise residential project, ensuring quality, timely completion, adherence to specifications, and effective coordination with project teams, contractors, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise end-to-end finishing works for high-rise residential construction.
• Plan and monitor finishing activities to achieve project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate execution of internal and external finishes, including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, faade-related works, doors/windows, and other finishing activities.
• Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Head, Planning, MEP, QA/QC, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower deployment, productivity, and work fronts.
• Identify execution constraints and ensure timely resolution to avoid delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper quality control at every stage of finishing.
• Ensure coordination between civil finishing and MEP services to avoid clashes and rework.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement/stores teams for timely availability.
• Review work progress and maintain daily/weekly progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and site safety standards.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging activities and ensure timely closure of defects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in civil finishing works.
• Strong experience in high-rise residential projects is mandatory/preferred.
• Experience in projects executed using Mivan / aluminium formwork technology will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential finishing activities, construction methodologies, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Good contractor management and site execution capabilities.
• Strong coordination, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with experience in large-scale residential developments will be preferred.
