Job summary

Amara Raja Infra is seeking an experienced professional to lead and supervise finishing works at project sites. You will ensure quality, safety, and adherence to drawings, specifications and schedules.

The role requires Civil Engineering qualifications and 5+ years of relevant finishing experience, with strong site management and coordination abilities to drive timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant field experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in finishing works such as plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, doors/windows, facade works.

Responsibilities

• Execute finishing works across masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling, ceilings, painting and waterproofing.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams for timely completion.
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower and equipment for execution.
• Ensure works meet quality standards and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections.
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans and track progress against schedules.
• Verify subcontractor measurements and support project billing.
• Uphold safety standards and conduct toolbox talks, report unsafe conditions.

Job Purpose

Responsible for executing and supervising all architectural and finishing activities at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Role & responsibilities

Execution & Site Management

• Execute finishing works including masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling, false ceiling, painting, waterproofing, doors, windows and facade-related activities.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams for timely completion of finishing activities.
• Ensure availability of materials, manpower and equipment required for execution.

Quality Management

• Ensure finishing works comply with project quality standards and approved methodologies.
• Conduct inspections and resolve quality issues during execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, mock-ups and approvals.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare daily and weekly work plans.
• Track progress against project schedules.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and architectural teams to avoid execution conflicts.

Billing & Measurement

• Verify subcontractor measurements and bills.
• Maintain records of work completed and support project billing activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and EHS regulations.
• Participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.

Documentation

• Maintain site records, DPRs, progress reports and material consumption records.
• Monitor RFIs, inspection requests and site instructions related to finishing works.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience
• 3 to 8 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finishing works.
