Home Credit India seeks a Project Manager – OEM Team to drive end-to-end onboarding and implementation of OEM partners, dealers, and financing programs. You will coordinate across Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure successful launches and scaling of partnerships.

The role requires managing cross-functional projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, system integrations, and timely project execution across dealer locations.

Responsibilities

• OEM Partner Onboarding & Program Launch: onboard OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and dealer networks; implement customized financing programs.
• Project Planning & Execution: define scope, milestones, timelines, and success metrics; maintain schedules and address delays.
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: coordinate with Risk, Credit, Operations, Sales, Product, Compliance, Technology, Legal, and Finance; own project communications.
• Process Improvement & Automation: identify gaps, drive automation, standardize frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Reporting & MIS: prepare dashboards, status reports, and governance records; provide management updates.

Job description

The Project Manager – OEM Team will be responsible for driving end-to-end onboarding and implementation of OEM partners, dealers, and financing programs. The role involves managing cross-functional projects across Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure successful launch and scaling of OEM financing partnerships.

The incumbent will act as a central coordinator between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely execution of projects, process automation initiatives, system integrations, and operational readiness while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. OEM Partner Onboarding & Program Launch

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of new OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and dealer networks.
• Lead implementation of customized financing programs aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate partner requirements, documentation, approvals, and launch activities.
• Ensure timely rollout of financing programs across designated dealer locations.
• Develop project plans and implementation roadmaps for new partnerships.

2. Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Prepare project schedules and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
• Track project progress and proactively address delays or dependencies.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure successful project closure with proper documentation and sign-offs.

3. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with Risk, Credit, Operations, Sales, Product, Compliance, Technology, Legal, and Finance teams.
• Act as the single point of contact for project-related communication and issue resolution.
• Align internal processes with partner requirements while maintaining business controls.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure timely completion of action items.
• Lead API integration and digital onboarding projects for OEM and dealer ecosystems.
• Coordinate with technology teams for system configuration, UAT, deployment, and issue resolution.
• Support implementation of POS financing solutions and digital loan origination journeys.
• Ensure seamless integration between lending platforms, CRM systems, and partner interfaces.
• Drive adoption of digital and automated processes to improve customer experience.

5. Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify process gaps and recommend automation opportunities.
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives to reduce turnaround time and improve productivity.
• Standardize project implementation frameworks and governance processes.
• Monitor project outcomes and recommend continuous improvement measures.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documents, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor adherence to agreed SLAs and business performance parameters.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
• Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and key stakeholders.
• Conduct business review meetings and monitor implementation performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners involved in project delivery.
• Track partner service levels and ensure resolution of operational issues.
• Support commercial discussions and project-related negotiations where required.

8. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and management updates.
• Present project progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership teams.
• Track key implementation metrics and business performance indicators.
• Maintain project documentation and governance records.
