Job summary

Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal seeks an HSE Manager to lead QHSE, HSE and E&S policy implementation across the project, ensuring compliance with statutory and ESMS requirements. You will conduct inspections, risk assessments and CAPA actions, and develop HSE performance indicators for management.

The role includes emergency preparedness, environmental monitoring, waste disposal through approved vendors, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Policy implementation and coordination skills across QHSE, HSE and E&S.
• Auditing, risk assessment and CAPA management experience.
• Emergency preparedness and incident investigation capabilities.
• Stakeholder coordination with authorities and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement QHSE, HSE, Environmental & Social (E&S) policies and procedures across the project.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, ADB, ESMS, ESMP and applicable EHS requirements.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and CAPA implementation.
• Develop and monitor HSE performance indicators, compliance reports and E&S reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective emergency preparedness, mock drills, emergency equipment and response procedures.
• Manage environmental compliance, including air, water and noise monitoring and hazardous waste disposal through authorized vendors.
• Ensure HSE compliance of contractors, vendors and subcontractors and monitor their performance.
• Develop and deliver HSE/E&S training, awareness programs, safety committee meetings and toolbox talks.
• Manage worker welfare, occupational health, grievance redressal, social compliance and stakeholder coordination.
• Coordinate with JNPA, regulatory authorities, auditors and external agencies and ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance actions.
