Job summary

Avaada Group is seeking a dedicated HSE professional to implement and monitor the project-specific HSE Management System on site in Jalna, Maharashtra. The role requires ensuring compliance with statutory, client, and company safety standards while conducting daily site inspections and promoting safe work practices.

You will lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and monthly campaigns, deliver emergency response and first aid training, and coordinate with local emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project-specific HSE Management System.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, client requirements, and company safety standards.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions for identified risks.
• Ensure adequate safety controls for work at height, lifting, turbine erection activities, electrical works, excavation & civil works, confined space entry, and hot work activities.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Organize monthly safety campaigns and awareness programs.
• Deliver training on emergency response, fire safety, work-at-height safety, electrical safety, and first aid.
• Promote behavioral safety practices across the project.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain records of incidents, observations, and corrective actions.
• Track closure of safety observations and action points.
• Ensure availability and maintenance of emergency response equipment.
• Conduct mock drills for fire, medical emergencies, and rescue operations.
• Coordinate with local emergency services whenever required.
• Maintain all HSE records, registers, permits, and statutory documents.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
• Support internal and external HSE audits.
