Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards across plant operations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or minimize identified risks.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements across all operational areas.
• Promote a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, and workers.
• Record, investigate, and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
• Maintain incident and near-miss records and track trends for preventive action.
• Ensure timely implementation and closure of actions arising from incident investigations.
• Conduct periodic internal EHS inspections and audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors, statutory authorities, and certification bodies as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, industrial safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
