Job summary

OCS Group in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) professional to lead compliance and improvement initiatives across our operations.

You will develop and implement EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, lead audits, organize training, manage incident investigations, and drive ISO 45001/14001 programs to promote a strong safety culture. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; implement corrective actions.
• Organize EHS training, safety awareness programs, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor workplace safety performance and KPI reporting.
• Manage emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities.
• Ensure proper waste management and environmental compliance.
• Oversee contractor and vendor safety management.
• Maintain EHS records, permits, and regulatory documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system requirements.
• Advise management on EHS risks and compliance matters.
• Reduce workplace incidents, injuries, and environmental impacts.
