Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Pune seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to coordinate quality activities for tooling and dies. You will understand customer needs and deploy them into products, conduct in-process and final inspections of panels, dies, and fixtures, and generate dashboards for senior management highlighting risks.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in quality, a BE/ME in Mechanical, and hands-on exposure to quality tools such as MSA and SPC, process audits, and

Qualifications

• BE / ME Mechanical degree required.
• 8–10 years of experience in quality control/assurance.
• Experience in automotive tooling quality and dies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality activities across the value chain.
• Understand customer needs and deploy them into products.
• Benchmark quality parameters and improve tool/die quality.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of panels, dies & fixtures.
• Generate quality dashboards for senior management reviews.
• Carry out process audits and GNODA/ GNOFA audits.
• Conduct MSA & SPC studies.
• Maintain measuring instruments and related equipment.
• Ensure safe working conditions and good housekeeping.

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• To coordinate the Quality activities.
• Understand Customer needs and latent Desires and ensure Deployment in Products
• Benchmark Quality Parameters and Improve Product Quality of Tools and Dies.
• Working closely with various stakeholders (Internal & External)
• In process & Final inspection of the Panels, Dies & Fixtures.
• Generating Quality indicator dashboard for Senior Management reviews highlighting key quality risks.
• To carryout Different Audits like Process Audit & GNODA-C / GNOFA-C Audit.
• To carry MSA & SPC study.
• To maintain the Measuring Instruments, Accessories, Material handling equipment in good working condition.
• To maintain the safe working condition & good house keeping in the Department
