Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to oversee end-to-end quality assurance, audits, and process improvements in the Pune facility. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, deploying quality improvements in tools and dies, and leading audits and KPI dashboards.

The ideal candidate has BE/ME in Mechanical with 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing quality, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

• BE or ME in Mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in quality/audit roles.
• Experience in manufacturing quality processes and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and latent desires and ensure deployment in products.
• Benchmark quality parameters and improve product quality of tools and dies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inspect panels, dies and fixtures during in-process and final checks.
• Generate quality indicator dashboards for senior management reviews highlighting key risks.
• Conduct process audits and GNODA-C / GNOFA-C audits.
• Carry out MSA and SPC studies.
• Maintain measuring instruments and related equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain safe working conditions and good housekeeping in the department.
