Job summary

Express Global Logistics is seeking a Manager - Sales & Business Development in Gujarat to drive growth across Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance and Project Logistics. You will onboard new customers, manage key accounts and lead initiatives to meet revenue and profitability targets.

The role requires building a solid sales pipeline, negotiating commercial terms and coordinating with Pricing, Operations and Customer Service to deliver competitive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance and Project Logistics.
• Identify, approach and onboard new customers and key corporate accounts.
• Achieve Revenue, GP and volume targets.
• Develop existing accounts through cross-selling and increased business share.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through customer meetings, networking and market mapping.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate rates, and close business opportunities.
• Work closely with Pricing, Operations and Customer Service teams for competitive solutions and smooth execution.
• Monitor customer profitability, credit exposure, and collections.
• Track market trends, competition, and potential business opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Submit periodic sales pipeline, Revenue and GP reports to management.
