Torrent Electricals in Lucknow is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive growth in the Cables division. You will own the regional go-to-market plan for LT, HT & EHV, translating national strategy into quarterly execution roadmaps and building forecasts aligned to margins.

The role requires 12+ years in Industrial Electricals with strong cable exposure, a proven record in channel scaleup and high-value deal closures, and the ability to strengthen distributor and customer partnerships while

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive sales experience in Industrial Electricals with strong exposure to cables (LT, HT & EHV).
• Experience leading a region/large territory is essential.
• Proven track record in channel scaleup, key account acquisition, and margin management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, explore, and convert new business opportunities in institutional, industrial, and project segments.
• Own regional go-to-market plan for LT, HT & EHV; translate national strategy into execution roadmaps.
• Build annual and quarterly sales forecasts, price/discount frameworks, and coverage models.
• Conduct market mapping to broaden customer base and improve coverage.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of LT, HT & EHV cables and industrial products.
• Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals with profitability and customer satisfaction.

Objective:

• To drive sales growth and market penetration for the Cables division through effective customer management, channel development, and execution of strategic sales initiatives.
• To ensure consistent achievement of regional sales targets while strengthening the company's presence and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, explore, and convert new business opportunities in institutional, industrial, and project segments.
• Own the regional go-to-market plan for LT, HT & EHV ; translate national strategy into quarterly/ monthly execution roadmaps.
• Build annual and quarterly sales forecasts, price/discount frameworks, and coverage models aligned to contribution margin and cashflow goals.
• Conduct market mapping to broaden the customer base and improve coverage.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of LT, HT & EHV cables and industrial electrical products.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
• Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure in-depth understanding of the company's cable products to effectively position them in the market.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical preferred); MBA/PGDM is an advantage.
• Experience: 12+ years of progressive sales experience in Industrial Electricals with strong exposure to Cables (LT, HT & EHV); prior responsibility for a region/large territory is essential.
• Proven track record in channel scaleup, key account acquisition, and margin management.
