Job summary

Live Connections Placements Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Manager for Program Management with deep expertise in automotive sheet metal stamping, tooling development, and new project launches. You will manage projects from RFQ through SOP and handover to Operations.

The role requires 10–15 years in automotive program management, strong leadership, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery, cost targets, and quality standards across OEM programs.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of automotive program management experience.
• Strong experience in Sheet Metal Stamping and Automotive Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of welding technologies, die development and tooling.
• Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3.
• Experience in OEM project launches and customer coordination.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from RFQ to SOP.
• Develop and monitor project timelines and master schedules.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, and customer/internal gateway closure activities.
• Lead tooling development, die buy-off, fixture development, and production readiness.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Stamping, Tooling, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing teams.
• Monitor project budgets, profitability, investment approvals, and engineering changes.
• Handle OEM customers and provide project launch updates.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Drive engineering changes and capacity expansion projects.
• Ensure quality, cost, delivery, and timing targets are achieved.
