Job summary

TopGear Consultants Pvt Ltd. seeks a seasoned Program Engineer/Program Manager with 10+ years of program management experience, preferably in aerospace OEMs and defense. You will lead programs from RFQ to delivery, develop plans, assess risks, manage budgets, and ensure quality and timely product shipment.

You will serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, collaborate with commercial and BD teams, and drive customer satisfaction through effective leadership and execution across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace) is required.
• 10+ years of program management experience with aerospace OEMs and defense industries is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9000, APQP, PPAP, AS9145, AS13100.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders.
• Develop new programs to support strategic growth.
• Execute programs to meet scope, schedule, cost, delivery and quality requirements.
• Interface with commercial and business development teams from RFQ to final shipment.
• Develop project plans and coordinate with teams to ensure NPD per customer dates.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Provide status updates to executives and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Enhance customer relationship management and satisfaction.
• Oversee people management within the program team.

Job description

Position: Program Engineer OR Program Manager

Job Description:

10+Years Program Management Experience

Thorough understanding of Program Management techniques and methods

Serve as a primary point of contact for Program stakeholders

Responsible for developing new programs to support the strategic growth of the organization.

Accountable to execute programs to achieve scope, schedule, cost, delivery and quality requirements.

Interacting with commercial and business development teams from the RFQ stage to final product shipment.

Responsible for developing project plan and coordinating with teams/functions to ensure New Product Development as per customer required dates.

Identify and assess risk that may impact program delivery. Develop mitigation strategies and monitor risks throughout the program lifecycle.

Communicate program status, updates and key milestones to executives and other stake holders

Work with finance team to manage budgets and ensure projects remain cost-effective.

Customer relationship management processes and increase customer satisfaction levels.

People Management

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace)

M.Sc./M. Eng/MBA, PMP certification is a plus

Proven experience in Program Management with Aerospace OEMs & defense industries is a plus.

Good understanding of AS9100, ISO9000, APQP, PPAP, AS9145, AS13100

Drawing Interpretation / Standards / Customer documents/ Configuration Management

Process FMEA / DFMEA, Document Control, GD&T

Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills

Special Requirement, if any:

Knowledge on Aerospace sourcing and Supply Chain Management

Basic understanding of various manufacturing process like tube bending, TiG Welding, CNC Machining, special processes and NDT techniques

Knowledge in aerospace materials, heat treatment, special process etc
