Ltd. in Pune invites an experienced Manager – Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to lead lean manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement in automotive sheet metal manufacturing. The role demands 12–15 years of hands-on experience in engineering and manufacturing processes.

You will drive Kaizen events, PFMEA, control plans and Poka-Yoke, implement VSM and automation projects, optimize cycle time, and improve welding quality while ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in Automotive Sheet Metal Manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Six Sigma.
• VSM, Automation Projects and Cycle Time Reduction.
• Weld PIST Improvement.
• PFMEA, Control Plans, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and VSM initiatives.
• Drive TPM implementation to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Execute automation projects, cycle time reduction and material flow optimization.
• Drive Weld PIST improvement and resolve chronic equipment / tooling issues.
• Implement Kaizen, Quality Circles and Visual Factory initiatives.
• Drive cost-saving projects, consumable reduction and shop-floor space optimization.
• Handle PFMEA review, Control Plans and Poka-Yoke implementation.
• Support MAFACT implementation and manufacturing system compliance.
• Improve assembly dimensional capability, ergonomics and workplace safety.
• Support operator training, multi-skilling and technical skill development.
• Coordinate new production line commissioning, new product launches and production handover.
• Ensure productivity, welding quality and designed cycle-time targets.

• Knowledge of MTTR, MTBF and equipment reliability.
• AutoCAD and 2D / 3D CAD software.
• Experience in Tool Room / Maintenance / Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
