Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited seeks an experienced engineer to manage operation and maintenance of RAN/MW networks. You will handle alarm rectification, daily reporting, and coordination with SNOC and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 7-8 years in BSS O&M RAN (Nokia & Ericsson), with BE in Electronics and Communications and strong troubleshooting skills across optical and transport networks.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years experience in BSS O&M RAN (Nokia & Ericsson).
• BE in Electronics and Communication.
• Sound knowledge of troubleshooting RAN/MW networks.
• Experience with optical and transport networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned tasks for network uptime and performance.
• Handle breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Analyze daily reports and target >99.70% uptime.
• Rectify MW and RAN alarms to ensure service quality.
• Coordinate with SNOC, IPs, CODE and projects for daily operations.
• Engage with BSC/RNC and Transport domains as required.

Responsible for network uptime for radio, MW. Support to improve the network KPIs for all technology.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

1. Engineer will responsible for Operation and maintenance of assigned task

2. Engineer will responsible for breakdown and preventive maintenance

3. Engineer to analyze daily report and deliver >99.70% uptime

4. Engineer will responsible for MW and RAN alarm rectification

5. Engineer to coordinate with SNOC ,IPs, CODE, project, etc. for day to day operation

6. Engineer having hands on experience in BSC/RNC and Transport domain
