Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in Hyderabad seeks an O&M Field Engineer at M1 Manager level to ensure network uptime for radio and MW components and to support KPI improvements.

The role requires 7–8 years of experience in BSS O&M RAN (Nokia & Ericsson), a BE in Electronics & Communication, and strong leadership capabilities to coordinate with SNOC, IPs, CODE and project teams.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in BSS O&M RAN (Nokia & Ericsson).
• Strong troubleshooting of RAN, MW, and Transport networks.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating with cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Ensure network uptime for radio and MW components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze daily reports to achieve >99.70% uptime.
• Coordinate with SNOC, IPs, CODE, and project teams.
• Hands-on work with BSC/RNC and Transport domains.

Job Purpose

Responsible for network uptime for radio, MW. Support to improve the network KPIs for all technology.

Key ResultAreas/Accountabilities

• Engineer will responsible for Operation and maintenance of assigned task
• Engineer will responsible for breakdown and preventive maintenance
• Engineer to analyze daily report and deliver >99.70% uptime
• Engineer will responsible for MW and RAN alarm rectification
• Engineer to coordinate with SNOC ,IPs, CODE, project, etc. for day to day operation
• Engineer having hands on experience in BSC/RNC and Transport domain
