Job summary

Uno Minda Limited in Haryana, India, seeks a Lead New Product Development professional to drive NPC/NPD activities from RFQ to SOP. The role requires coordinating with customers and internal teams across design, process, quality, production, and tooling to ensure successful product launches.

You will review drawings and technical requirements, manage trials and prototypes, and ensure APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and milestone adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPC/NPD) activities from RFQ to SOP.
• Coordinate with customers, design, process, quality, production, and tool development teams.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Ensure timely APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and Project Milestone completion.
• Drive product feasibility studies and process validation.
• Manage new project timelines, cost targets, and resource planning.
• Handle customer interactions regarding product development and project status.
• Coordinate trial runs, prototype development, and SOP readiness.
• Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure smooth project transfer from development to mass production.
