Job summary

Sandhar Technologies Limited (KA) Unit - I is seeking an engineer to drive new product development from concept to SOP. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Tooling, and Suppliers to ensure design and process alignment with customer requirements.

You will lead APQP activities, manage PPAP submissions, and track milestones while coordinating prototype testing and validation. The role emphasizes timely delivery and adherence to customer specifications.

• Coordinate new product development projects from concept to SOP.
• Ensure design, validation, and process development align with customer and internal requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Tooling, and Suppliers.
• Drive APQP activities and documentation (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, etc.).
• Define and track project milestones and timelines.
• Coordinate prototype development, trials, and validation testing.
• Ensure PPAP submission and approval.
• Manage ECN/ECR process and drawing changes.
• Interface with customers for technical and development discussions.
• Ensure adherence to customerSpecific requirements.
• Conduct feasibility reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Lead design and process reviews.
• On-time NPD project delivery.
• Compliance with APQP and customer requirements.
• First Time Right (FTR) launch.
• Internal & customer PPAP approvals.
• Cost, quality, and delivery KPIs of new product.
• Timely response to design changes or customer feedback.
