Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manager for New Product Identification to identify therapy areas, products, complex generics, and solid opportunities for multiple markets.
You will prepare business cases and coordinate with R&D, RA, Clinical, IP, and Marketing to evaluate development costs and capex. The role requires experience in pharma strategy, licensing, and pipeline management, with strong collaboration across functions and a results‑driven mindset.
Identify key therapy areas, products, complex generics, and sole FTF opportunities for US, Canada, Europe, and ANZ markets. Work on various themes to find low‑competition ANDA opportunities, prepare business cases, and liaise with R&D, RA, Clinical, API, IP, and Marketing teams to compile relevant information and assess development cost and capital expenditure.
Identify API business opportunities for products in Phase II or III, and present shortlisted products to Senior Management for inclusion in the company pipeline, aiming to meet business targets and sustain revenue growth.
Track industry news, investor presentations, IMS data, new approvals, FTF, citizen petition opportunities, and new NDA filings of existing molecules (alternate dosage forms & new strengths). Keep relevant teams informed.
Identification of key therapy areas and products, tracking dosage extensions and alternate dosage forms, suggesting in‑licensing opportunities when in‑house manufacturing is not feasible, and preparing & maintaining business cases with input from R&D, manufacturing, network strategies, IP, and commercial teams.
