Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Nagpur is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineer to lead casting development, drawing analysis, and integration with design teams. The role requires strong knowledge of foundry processes, VPPAP/APQP, and coordination with suppliers.

The incumbent will manage MRV team projects, ensure first-time-right development, and collaborate across functions using SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engg.
• Knowledge of casting development and foundry processes.
• Experience with drawing study and analysis.
• Understanding of casting processes and VPPAP/APQP knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Good Knowledge and experience of Casting components development (Foundry processes and Machining)
• Drawing study and providing technical feedback to design team
• Floating RFQ, TSO sign off with PCM and QS submission to SSU within timelines
• Ensuring First time right development with PERT chart tracking
• Exposure & Skills in VPPAP actvities and closures
• Scheduling of development parts and CDMM ownership parts.
• Project Coordination for a Team at MRV.
• Proto/RPT Route Component Development .
• Material availability at MRV for Testing and validations Requirments.
• Commercial Acumen , Capex & Material cost
