Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a quality engineer to provide quality system support and mentoring to ensure processes and outgoing products meet requirements. The role involves resolving customer complaints, failed part analysis, ICA/PCA, and coordinating with PVT & Service.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer focus at buyoffs, using MQS tools, and driving corrective actions with CFT, along with timely MIS reporting and APQP documentation.

Qualifications

• BE/MTech in mechanical engineering with relevant quality system exposure.
• Experience with quality tools and process improvements is desirable.
• Candidate should be able to mentor teams and interact with cross-functional functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality system support & mentoring in the department to ensure the process and outgoing product quality meets requirements.
• Resolve customer complaints, failed part analysis, ICA/PCA identification, verification & implementation & communicate planned actions to PVT & Service.
• Ensure customer focus is maintained at buyoffs and aligned to audit results.
• Support for analysis of quality concerns & ensure quality tools/techniques are used as per MQS guidelines.
• Facilitate manufacturing and other areas in using quality tools and ensuring defect-free product.
• Ensure proper MIS for management reporting, timely & periodical updates & release.
• Proactively identify process gaps, concerns, and execute corrective measures along with CFT.
• Change Management- FTR Approval (Fitment Verification jointly with CFT), APQP activities & documentation.
• On time closure of New project quality gateway deliverables for new models & ensuring First time right product.
• Establish and sustain Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standard.
