Linde Global IT Delivery Center in Kolkata is seeking a seasoned software professional to advance a modern cloud-native platform. You will develop features across Java/Spring backend services and React frontend applications, delivering enhancements and new functionality that align with evolving business needs.

You will also build and maintain REST APIs, software integrations, and data-driven solutions while participating in database design, performance tuning, and technical design discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building, supporting, and enhancing enterprise or business-critical applications.
• Experience with established codebases rather than greenfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain features across Java/Spring backend services and React frontend applications.
• Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, and new functionality to support evolving business requirements.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and data-driven solutions.
• Participate in database design, query optimization, and application performance improvements and technical design discussions.
• Support modernization and refactoring initiatives under guidance of Technical Leads and Senior Engineers.
• Assist in decomposing legacy functionality into modern services and components.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving maintainability; assist with deployments and CI/CD activities.
• Collaborate with developers, Technical Leads, QA, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

• You will also support modernization and refactoring initiatives under the guidance of Technical Leads and Senior Engineers.

• Furthermore, contribute to reducing technical debt and improving application maintainability.
• Also, assistwith deployments and CI/CD pipeline activities.
• Lastly, work closely withdevelopers, Technical Leads, QA engineers, Product Owners, and stakeholders

• You must have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Required to have experience building, supporting, and enhancing enterprise or business-critical applications.
• Experience working within established codebases rather than exclusively greenfield projects is also a must
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You must have ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills is non-negotiable
• Also, the ability to collaborateeffectively in globally distributed teams.
