Job summary

ECLAT Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Medical Coding Manager to lead multispecialty coding operations for US healthcare clients. Location is Mumbai, work from office.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years US medical coding, proven management experience, and CPC/CCS/COC/CIC certifications. You will drive accuracy, productivity, and compliance across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years US medical coding experience.
• Experience leading large coding teams (Manager / Assistant Manager).
• Strong exposure to one or more of the listed specialties.
• Experience with client interactions and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end coding operations across specialties.
• Lead Team Leads, QA teams, and coding professionals to meet SLAs.
• Drive coding accuracy, compliance, and process standardization.
• Manage client communication, governance, and escalations.
• Conduct performance reviews and workforce/capacity planning.
• Monitor productivity, quality, TAT, and client metrics.
• Drive training and development across coding teams.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Training, and Client stakeholders.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Ensure ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end coding operations across multiple specialties.
• Lead Team Leads, QA teams, and Coding professionals to achieve productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Drive coding accuracy, compliance, operational excellence, and process standardization.
• Manage client communication, operational governance, and escalations.
• Conduct performance reviews, workforce planning, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor productivity, quality, TAT, and client metrics through regular reporting and governance reviews.
• Drive training, mentoring, and development initiatives across coding teams.
• Partner with Quality, Operations, Training, and Client stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and operational transformation projects.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, payer-specific guidelines, and client requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of US Medical Coding experience.
• Prior experience as Manager / Assistant Manager handling large coding teams.
• Strong exposure to one or more specialties listed above.
• Experience managing Team Leads, QA teams, and Coding Operations.
• Strong understanding of productivity, quality, SLA, and workforce management.
• Experience in client interactions, business reviews, and operational governance.
• CPC, CCS, COC, CIC, or equivalent certification preferred.
