Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Nagpur seeks an Electrical & PLC Engineer to manage end-to-end maintenance in the paint shop, plan electrical/PLC projects, and train DETs and contractual staff in maintenance and PLC operations.

Responsibilities include keeping key equipment in good condition, coordinating with vendors for project execution and quotations, handling SAP-based maintenance tasks, and ensuring ISO-compliant documentation and cost optimization across the shop.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent.
• 2–8 years of general experience in maintenance.
• Experience with PLC and SCADA preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end maintenance activities, from enquiry to execution.
• Maintain key paint shop equipment: PTCED, ovens, painting booths, rectifiers, VFDs, electrical panels.
• Collaborate with electrical vendors for project execution and quotations.
• Handle SAP-based maintenance tasks, including PR/PO processes.
• Plan and execute electrical and PLC projects; troubleshoot system errors.
• In-house electrical and PLC modifications; certify completed jobs.
• Implement ideas to optimize project execution and reduce costs.
• Reduce R&M expenses for Paint & Weld Shop.
• Train DETs and contractual staff in electrical maintenance and PLC operations.
• Maintain documentation for ISO audits and ensure compliance.
